Trial-by-trial

A “Trial-by-trial data collection” measurement system allows measuring a percentage (eg: correct response), compared to others (eg: no response, types of guidance, etc.)

For this type of program in ABA-assistant, by noting only the occurrences, you will have access:

  • number of tests by “behaviors/variables)
  • percentage of a behavior/variable compared to others

To use ABA-assistant, we offer:

1-Create the program: (If necessary, see the sheet “Create a program” https://behavior-analysis-technology.com/en/create-a-program/)

In “Program name”: target behavior

In “Session type”: select “Work session”

For the “Type of measurement”: select “Continuous (event)”

Select your group of favorite behaviors/variables if you have one that can suit your chain, otherwise leave nothing (for “favorite behaviors/variables see https://behavior-analysis-technology.com/en/create-a-favorite-behaviors-variables-group/) (you can add them on the “Goals and programs” tab of the folder)

If necessary, create your first phase (see the “Create a program” sheet)

For your “Behaviors/Variables”, we offer you as follows (to be adapted according to the guidelines and possibilities of your program) :

  • Alone
  • Model Prompt
  • Visual Prompt
  • No response

YOUR PROGRAM IS CREATED!!!!

You just have to follow the results of your procedure and make it evolve according to the data. You will be able to note these changes on your graphs thanks to the addition of phase lines.
