Functional Assessment – level 2
Functional Assessment – Level 2
To intervene on a behavior, it is essential to identify the variables that promote its occurrence and maintenance.
At ABA-Assistant, we prioritize user autonomy and the effectiveness of interventions. That’s why we have developed a series of improvements that make functional assessments both simple to implement and effective, providing you with all the answers you need.
Comparison of Variables
If, following your functional assessment, you want to track the correlation between multiple identified variables, you can easily do so using our percentage data selection option.
Step 1 – Create a Program
Define the variables to be collected based on the relationships you wish to analyze, for example:
- Antecedent 1 – Consequence 1
- Antecedent 1 – Consequence 2
- Antecedent 2 – Consequence 1
- Antecedent 2 – Consequence 2
This allows you to track the evolution of a behavior based on environmental antecedents and the consequences that follow the behavior.
Step 2 – Collect Your Data
Record the data according to the defined program to ensure a meaningful analysis.
Step 3 – Analyze Your Data
During the analysis:
- Enable the percentage visualization option.
- Under the “percentage” box, select only the variables containing the element to be studied (e.g., only “consequence 1” ).
- You will then obtain the percentage evolution of other variables based on this particular element.
Conclusion
Analyze your results and identify key trends to refine your intervention!
